Hi, Thanks fore the reply. Could possibly be the answer as Am using GT designer2 version 2,96A on both my laptops. On my old laptop using Windows XP it works but on my new laptop using windows 7 it does not work.
The bug will be corrected in the next version of the image/firmware but the quickest solution/work-around is to use the system command. I have a customer who is using E-Designer 7.30 and he as noticed that when using an E1070 and E1101 when he makes a change to a block and does a partial transfer of only the changed block the project in the terminal gets corrupted and shows strange symbols. The customer says he used to be able to transfer like this on an E900 without problems. I have confirmed this with E-Designer 7.30 and 7.31 using an E1101 (firmware 1.2 and 1.31). I created a new project with 3 blocks with a link and static text on each block Downloaded the entire project which ran correctly on the E1101 When I change the static text (change position and change the text) on block 0, and then transfer only that block (block 0 to block 0), on the terminal the static text has moved, but the text remains the same. When I add a static text to another block (block 1), then transfer block 1 to block 1. On the terminal the static text appears on block 1, however the text shows “@12!” The problem is when you change the text and do not update the message library then the terminal takes the old text (block 0).

Do you have E-Designer 7.20 or higher installed? The reason that E-view crashes when installing E-Designer is that the 2 softwares use a common file. E-Designer installs a new version of the PropertyBag.dll which is not supported by E-view.
