All in all I couldn't fault the output, but the interface can be a bit confusing - in the early version of the OSX software the layout of the controls wasn't as intuitive as it could have been although I know the interface is much clearer nowadays. As for Procoder it produced crystal clear results repeatedly, with very few artefacts (using MiniDV material). By default it sets up a CBR encode and to provide some comparison I changed it to VBR.
